Dave's Tearin' Up Our Hearts [Dedicated to a Depeche Mode (aka DM. They are one of my all-time favorite bands. They are an alternative rock/synth-pop/new wave/electronica/etc...band) newsgroup that I frequent. In '98, many modies were deeply sad that Dave (lead singer of DM) was getting re-married on Valentine's Day, and if he did, they fear that DM will end (long story), so I reassured/cheered them up with my little didly-doo-dee-parody]
We Want Alan Back [A supposedly plea from the 3 remaining members of Depeche Mode. Dedicated to a Depeche Mode newsgroup that I frequent. This is what's in the minds of lots of DModers when Alan (former DM whiz, who did some programming/engineering, etc...on past DM records, played the synthesizer, drums, piano, etc...) left in June '95, after 13 long years of being a DM band member. At times, I still deeply miss Alan's departure from DM. Luckily, 'N Sync's "I Want You Back" song helped me reassured that it's alright that Alan left. Also, Cause & Effect, one of my many other all-time favorite bands, tells me that 'N SYNC's "I Want You Back" song informs me that "It's Over Now (It's Alright)" (This song came out in '93.) that Alan left the band because DM still continues to make music 'til this day as the remaining threesome who are the original founders of Depeche Mode. The lyrics to the original song, "I Want You Back" is SO touching to me that I couldn't change the full lyrics to this parody. The original lyrics just says it all...]
